Highly doubt it. There are a lot of snake oil salesmen with "NIJ EQUIVILENT" armour that absolutely is not on par. You can read their own testing and it doesn't even come close to what is required by the NIJ. Also many will say made in Canada, but when you realize only 51% of the product (includes packaging) needs to be "Canadian" to get that tag, it makes more sense. We have the same plates in stock here as TNA, likely for the same reason. You don't sell people fake products or defective crap. Buy only approved NIJ armor and never second guess.

If you sell some customers defective crap they will never forgive you. Order 3516 for example from your company, Misty Mountain Supply.

regarding Aratech plates: I'm glad to see they finally got certified. I like everything about mine but the weight, but I knew what I was getting into there.
 
I don't have any plates, but thought I might get some one day especially if they were Canadian made. $1,000 for a pair is not an awful deal. However being that I have no experience on the matter, I've heard some guys like the square cut for backplates rather than 2 shooter cut plates (more coverage, you don't need the mobility, and more weight in the back brings up the front slightly, giving better coverage). Or maybe the option to buy a mixed set for a small plate up front and a medium one in the back? Is there an option for that or is it not that big of a deal?
