Nikko is the Japanese brand name of the manufacturer known as "Olin Kondensha" a joint venture between Olin(Winchester) and the Japanese manufacturer Kondensha. The Nikko O/Us are an almost exact clone of the Winchester 101( lots of parts interchange) sold outside of the US. They are considered to be not as valued as the 101 though it has been bantered they kept the best figured wood for themselves rather than put it on the 101s contracted to build.
