Hi there,
I'm trying to find info about this scope and inparticular the 'hunting' reticule,I can't seem to find any pictures of it,I've read that they are circles ?? Any help would be usefull.I'm thinking of this to go on my .223 for coyotes and gopfers !!
NIKON COYOTE 4.5-14X40 ADVANTAGE MAX-1 BDC with PREDATOR HUNTING RETICLE.

Cheers
TM.

This scope is not currently available in Canada. Some of the Nikon USA models are proprietary to the USA only and sometimes Nikon Canada just dosn't bring them in. Nikon Canada is however bringing in more models than ever and hopefully we will see the Monarch X (tactical models) this summer. We have just placed a very large order with Nikon and the prices will be coming down a little with more models available. Nikon Canada is trying to be more aggresive in their advertizing and availability of product. An interesting fact about Nikon warranty in Canada...if the Nikon product was not sold in Canada (sport optics or cameras) they will not warranty it for any reason. They apparently track every serial number of all products and scan warranty items to determine eligibility for warranty. Phil.

About a month ago, I purchased the Nikon Coyote 3x9 model with the BDC reticle for my 22-250 from Cabella's USA. Lucky for me, I live in a border town and can have it shipped to a local pick up in the US and walk it across the border. Yes the reticles are circles. Check out the Cabella's USA site under optics/nikon/coyote riflescope. Once there scoll down and under reticle click on the "BDC Predator". This will open up a pop up window with a very detailed/nice image of the reticle. I've been on the road so I don't have it mounted yet, but it sure looks and feels great...can't wait to sight it in...

Tankman, I have to wear my glasses. I thought your post said "coyotes and golfers", and we all know golfers are out of season till the last week of Nov.

Hi Tankman,

Easiest way to take a look at the reticle is on the American Nikon site which is www.Nikonhunting.com Great site and has all of our different reticles. At this point we are looking at bringing the Coyote Hunter into Canada but nothing I can promise you as of yet. Thanks for supporting our Canadian dealers! Phil well help you out no problem.

That's what I'd like to do,not heard back from P of P Dent though !!!
TM.

I suppose with the extra shipping involved from the USA etc it would be more so lets up it to about $320.00 can.

Sorry I didn't respond to this or your PM right away as we are getting loaded up for the Calgary Gun Show. The Nikon Buckmaster 4.5-14x40 would be the closest model to this one but not available with the BDC reticle...Nikoplex only, $359. The BDC reticle is only available in Canada (at this time) in the Monarch or Slughunter models. If your looking for other makes in this power range and cost then consider The Bushnell Trophy XLT, 4-12x40 AO with DOA 600 at $211 or the Bushnell Elite 3200 4-12x40 AO also with DOA 600 at $453. If the Coyote becomes available in Canada then we will carry it. Phil.
