Nikon Black - Who's Got 'Em?

I just returned my Nikon Black x1000 today. Ordered it in feb and got it out to shoot yesterday for the first time. I would get it zeroed then shoot 5 or 6 rounds and then all of a sudden POI would move a couple feet. Not impressed so it went back. Last time I buy a Nikon scope. Another guy on here had the same issue with his.

The glass was fairly good but I had some trouble with shadowing too. Other might have better luck then me but for $1000 scope I would expect better.

That's a shame, Nikon has pretty good entry level scopes, have a pile of Prostaff 1&2 on hunting rifles from wussy cartridges to a few magnums.

I never had issue with mine, it tracks good and the glass is very clear. Well worth the money I think. I've never had a POI changed.

Sometimes where the rings are mounted can mess up tracking, they should be centered as much as possible on the tubes away from other parts.
