Nikon Buckmasters 6-18x40 ?

I'm considering buying a Nikon Buckmasters 6-18x40 riflescope and would like some input from anyone with more scope savy than I have. Are they a reasonably good scope? Any problems with them? Where are they made?, etc. I would use it mainly for club level competition.

I've never owned one but considered buying one awhile back. The only thing I will mention is that I believe they have steel on brass adjustments which are said to wear faster than steel on steel.

They do have a lot of features and qualities for the money. The glass is claimed to be on par with the Burris FFII level.(again I've never owned one so I can only pass along what I've heard/read)

The 4.5 x 14 side focus I have is quite good.

The 6-18 I've got works great, I use it for target as well as gopher eradication. I'd say it's a good deal
