The specs look very good for this scope to be used for forward mounted optics on a rifle.

It's also available as an 'Encore', same specs apparently (maybe an older version ?).

I think they're both technically handgun scopes though.

I've been looking for a low-range variable scout-scope for my Steyr Scout for years. It needs to have an eye relief in the 10 to 12 inch range. This one looks perfect. More info definitely needed!
