Nikon getting out of hunting optics ?

Yup. No more rifle scopes. The rumour is they will continue to honour their warranties but nothing said if the scope has to be replaced

Perhaps they're concerned with possible litigation. Like people trying to sue Remington. Very gun unfriendly world, these days.

Competitive market seems to be the nail in the coffin, a shame as I really like their scopes. For the price you get some decent glass and I’ve had zero problems with any of the ones I’m using.
