Nikon M223 scopes in stock

These have yet to be imported by Nikon Canada. Apparently they are on their list of products to bring in in the future...no ETA. If you find one in Canada currently, it was probably not brought in by Nikon Canada and will not have Canadian warranty. Phil.

They are being brought over the border and are here, i'm pretty sure i could manage to get warrenty if i needed it also. If not, Oh well. I'd have to get another one, i was really impressed with the one i used.

I'm not saying you can't get warranty...just not in Canada if it was not imported by Nikon Canada. They track all serial numbers of items sold including cameras. Phil.

Phil, nikon sure doesn't like tactical-like stuff in Canukistan do they?

Yeah, I don't get that either. Nikon Japan had a problem with mildot reticles a few years ago claiming there was some problem with ITAR or other international restrictions. I think they heard about a few scopes from Leupold (like the CQB) that Nato Stock Numbers (NSN) that were prevented from export to civilians. As noted on a previous thread I was shown the the M 223 line of scopes by a Nikon Japan executive and asked for my opinion (a couple of years ago at the Shot Show) and I was very impressed and stated I thought these would do very well in Canada. For whatever reason these were not brought into Canada but we hope this will change shortly as these are lost sales that are going to the competition. Nikon Travis (CGN member) is one of my Nikon reps and he has been also trying to stimulated the powers that be to get going on this model line. This also applies to the Monarch X line as we have not seen these as well. If enough customers contact Nikon Canada then this might happen. Phil.

Bass pro in Vaughan Ontario has them on the shelf.

my redfield came from basspro and they would not warranty it saying that it was imported by basspro themselves and not by Korth group. so i was $hit out of luck and had to pay to have it fixed. total was 155$ for repairs and 15$ shipping. after all was said and done i could have just bought a new one for a little more. i'm assuming nikon has the same policy.
live and learn, i won't be buying any optics from basspro again.....

forgot to mention that i think it's total bull$hit that they won't honour the warranty.

Any word if they are in stock yet in Canada? What's the difference between the P-223 and the M-223? I'm thinking this might be slick on the Ruger Mini 14 for coyotes.

Still nothing on the near horizon. We are just about to enter our ordering phase with many distributors and hope to see new products that will be available for Canada. Phil.
