I'm looking at getting a Nikon 6.5-20x44 AO Monarch Matte Illuminated Mildot Scope.
Now I know Nikon scopes are not the easiest to get in Canada. And not cheap.
In fact I could order 3 of these in the states for what it would cost for 1 here.
My main question is, is this a good scope? I cant find pictures of what the illuminated mildot looks like.
I like the 6.5-20x44, I am one of those people that likes to see fibers that make up the paper targets. I really dont know how people do anything past 100 yards with only 10x.
Anyways. I know bringing a scope up with me is illegal, but what would customs do? would they jsut take it away from me? or would I get charged? Could I claim I didnt know I couldnt bring it back?
I fly to the states several times a year, and do a road trip once a year into the states. I also have countless people that would mail one from the states to me.
Being that they are so much cheaper in the states I am willing to need to buy 2 just to get one here. What would my best bet be for doing this?
