Nikon P22? Anyone use one yet?

Well I picked one up today, with the BDC reticle which seems like a great option for a .22lr.

I will report back with how well she works in the next couple days.

Here she is on the new build.

Well I have shot the thing now and can let everyone know my inital impressions.

1 - The quality is very good. Everything feels very solid, and the glass is pretty damn good for $180.

2 - Adjustments clicks are very solid, and audible even. No issues zeroing it in whatsoever, and comparing to a Leupold VX 1 rimfire, the Nikon wins hands down in this department. I hate the mushy feel of the Leupold.

3 - The BDC reticle works pretty well, but is crowded, and too busy. I appreciate it's function though, so I hope I can get used to it.

4 - Holds zero no problems, as I disassembled the gun and actually knocked it around a bit(by accident), then reassembled. Was on target without issue once put back together.

Overall I am very impressed, and don't regret choosing this over the VX 1. While I originally wanted the compactness offered from the Leupold, the price and extra features on this scope won me over. I think it suits the tactical look of the gun better as well.

I am in the market for a new scope for my CZ, wanted something better than the cheesey $60 Tasco on there now, the Nikon just made the list of one to check out.

Thanks for the information.
