Hi trying to decide which rimfire nikon prostaff 2 scope to get..

3x9x40

4x12x40
Or 2x7x32?

Which one??
I like the longer range of the 4x12 but it's set at 75 yard Parallax and I don't know what that means

Any info would be appreciated.

Don't know why the 2x7 is more then the other 2.

The 3-9 is a great overall scope that will do everything you want especially if most of your shooting will be in the field. It's good even for gophers out past 75 yards. If you enjoy shooting paper targets at 50 yards or more as well, the 4-12 is the better choice so you can see the holes. It will make the gun a little heavier and bulkier than it needs to be though. A 2-7 is fine for plinking tin cans etc at any range. If most of your shots will be in the bush for example the 2x is really nice for close in shots for example a grouse at 5 yards. The 4x at that range will work but not as well.
I've used them all and they all do the job. Only you can choose which is the best for you.
