Nikon scope dealer

Anyone know a Canadian based Nikon scope dealer? I am thinking about their tactical line specifically. I board supporter would be great!

P&D responded apparently no Nikon Tacticals were ever brought into Canada

Nope, Nikon USA will not ship the Tactical line to Canada and Nikon Canada wants nothing to do with the tactical line, I spoek to them about this and they pretty much hung the phone up. It is to bad becasue they are awsome scopes. Now that being said, there is a great gun shop just over the border in Buffalo and they have them instock.

Yes it is correct that Nikon Canada will not bring in Tactical or mildot scopes to Canada, They advise that the "Japanese will not allow the shipment of these type of scopes into Canada". They could not explain why they are shipped to the USA. They do however advise that they are trying to "rename" the tactical line and then mabey they will be allowed in. In the past Nikon Canada has been less than supportive in the scope and hunting markets and is slowly realising there is in fact a market out there. Phil.

My guess is that Nikon USA can't get an export license due to the word 'tactical' in the scope description. That would explain them trying to change the name.

Right now if an AR-15 pistol grip were described as a 'Tactical Grip' the license would be denied. No joke.
