Nikon X series

If you are referring to the Nikon Monarch X, then they are excellent scopes. I compared the Nikon 2.5-10x44 side by side with the top of line Bushnell scope (6500 4.5-30x50) and I could recognize more detail in the Nikon than the Bushnell at any zoom range. The adjustment knobs have incredibly positive clicks, kind of feel like they have ball detents. I don't think they are currently imported. In the US the 2.5-10 sells for around 800.
 
Up to now Nikon Canada has not imported the Monarch X line but we have bee advised that will change in the very near future.Our Nikon rep (Nikon Travis M. on this site) can be more specific. Phil.

what is his handle Travis M? I'd like to know if there is a hope in hell to get the M-223 BDC scope

I have one of the Monarch X 2.5-10x44SF M NP on one of my AR match rifles, very solid. I own a lot of high-end scopes, the X is very clear...93% light transmission, glass etched reticle to shrug off recoil, very nice and easy to grip1/4 click target turrets and holds zero. I will 100% compared the X with the VX3 anytime!....sorry to said...maybe even with the Mark4 3.5-10x40mm M1 or M3 model...price?....I will said between $800ish to $1000.(very resonable!). Some law enforcement agency are using the X on their tactical rifles.

Two quick replies; Monarch X is currently not imported into Canada. We have looked into it but I'd be lying to you if I said it was coming anytime soon at this point. Cross your fingers for 2011. The AR-223 scopes I have personally used and are a lot of fun. At this time same answer as above.

We are working on expanding our lineup to meet the American's product line, but for those of you in in the know Nikon Canada is really a new player in the Sport Optics game. Give us some time and all the toys will come. :)
