Nikon X1000 4-16x50 Replacement Suggestions

I sent my Nikon X1000 4-16x50 from my tikka varmint .223 for warranty. The windage turret screw sheared off when i was pulling the cap out to rotate back for zero while sighting in.

Nikon got back to me in a very respectable timeline, but with bad news. Optic was not repairable and they do not have any replacement scopes left at all.
So they offered me a nikon voucher for a camera or such.
I finally negotiated a cash settlement after a couple weeks of back and forth. I had to tell them that i bought that scope with good faith that Nikon was a large company, with a good product and not going anywhere. Now they decided not to be linked with bad, bad, so very bad guns and discontinue their scopes.
I bought this one from Cabelas, on their trade in deal. Traded a scope in and got this one for $100 off at $479.99 plus tax.
Nikon will only refund me the $479.99 and will not pay for the tax. So the fight continues


SO, im looking for a replacement in that $500-$700 range. Cant decide between a Vortex diamondback tactical, bushnell match pro, vortex strike eagle, or do i look for a used bushnell elite tactical et4305?

Anyone have some experience with these newer scopes?

I had a fx1000 6-24x50 which had tracking failure that I sent in. I also got discontinued I paid $997 new. They never offered a cash pay out. I ended up taking a monarch 7 bino and 4k black rangefinder. I'm happy with both items but never buying nikon again!

I had to fight with them for 2 weeks over it.
I have the same binos and range finder already. This is why i refused their nikon voucher. Nothing else they have to offer me that id want. No need for a camera...
