Nitro venom dust problems

Hey guys, I'm experiencing problems with my nitro venom dust, hope you guys can help. So I was sighting it in today at 15 yards (no wind and I was rested) , and the grouping was amazing. My group had to go up about 1/2" so I clicked the up dial 3 times. Then I took a shot and the bullet lands 8" below, wtf? So I crank the scope up quite a bit and I get it to hit where I was aiming. Then like 4 shots later it's hitting like 10" above. I just think the scope is a POS (centerpoint 3-9, came with gun). When you go to 9 zoom, you can't see #### all. What is a new pellet gun scope option below $100? Keep in mind it's a high powered pellet gun (.177-1200fps) Thanks.

If you screw off the front ring you can then turn the inner ring and adjust the focus on 9 power, I have a regular nitro venom and did it with mine, also shoot a 100 or so pellets through it before even trying to fine tune the scope, give the barrel a clean and then try sighting it in better. Last Daisy pellets are all over the map with mine, crosman destroyer or even better the premier group 100X better.

Oh another thing is are the adjusting dials in the middle somewhere as in not maxed out inward or out? I had to shim up the rear of my scope to get the adjustment in the middle range.
