Two simple questions....this rifle has nice wood...kind of lighter with a reddish hue. Can anyone help me with the type of wood? No...I don't have a pic. Second is why would the arsenal take the time and make the effort to renumber a magazine to the rifle....not once but three different serial numbers with all struck except the # of the rifle? Was there a real life purpose or was it just "following regulations"? TKS, Dave
