Just received a response back from Freedom Ventures on my query about 10mm Tangfolio's. They won't INITIALLY be bringing them in. That sucks as I refuse to pay out huge coin for a Colt or Razorback or whatever.

Ya I know thanks. Too damn expensive for my likes though. I figured this would get them quite a bit of attention as I figured most poeple steared clear of the 10mm because the guns themselves are quite expensive. I thought the Tang's being much cheaper would sell like hot cakes.
 
How much are the Tangfolio's?? My Delta was cheap compared to other handguns I have. Think of the ammo as well it is a lot more expensive to shoot a 10mm.

Well, you must be on crack if you think you can get a Colt Delta Elite cheap these days. Not too many of them in Canada to begin with and even less of them for sale these days. It's a seller's market on 10mm's...;) :D

I have a blued Colt Delta that's like new. I might sell it. But it won't be cheap... :p

not to much of a chance on a Razorback at any price here in Canada as there were only 500 made worldwide and only one in Canada.;)

Who's on crack? Try reading what I typed again. I don't recall saying the Colt's were cheap in fact that was part of my gripe.:rolleyes:

By comparison they sell for around $200 U.S. That's a good deal to me. Think Norinco...aaahhhhhhhhhhh......that even sounds cheap.

Thanks for the info. I'll do that. I should also say that the guy from Freedom Ventures after saying that they wouldn't be getting in any 10mm's, informed me that I could get them to order anything they don't have in stock for me. So I asked for clarification on this and am waiting a response.

I must be doing something wrong. I checked the member's list thinking I could PM Redleg but couldn't find him in the list. Maybe he'll see this post and attempt to help me with my plight.

Sorry Crack, didn't mean to insult... I did read your post. Point is though, Colts are expensive. Whether they are worth it or not... :(

And I do understand you wanting to get into a quality 10mm pistol with reasonable outlay... ;)

Hope you do get something in ten-em-em... :D

No sweat and no insult taken. Yes they are very expensive. I have a different outlook on certain things. Like I won't spend money for higher quality equipment as I don't feel it's justified. It's like computers. My job requires me to DO and KNOW all things computer and on my personal time and what I personally own for computer equipment I will buy the CHEAPEST #### I can find. If I can't make it work as well as the high end #### then I'm in the wrong line of work.

I have a Delta. Sweet gun. If you want it, it'll cost you BIG TIME (read: I'm not selling unless it's an offer I'd be a retard to refuse) In fact, I'll be taking it out to the range tomorrow... I'll be there around Noon with a couple of buddies. Bring money for ammo, 10mm AIN'T CHEAP!
 
Just to clarify, I said that we were not stocking 10mms initially. There will be lots of shipments after that and there can be 10mms in there.

This is the first time Tanfoglios have come directly to Canada so there's no playbook to tell us what I should stock or not. We're bringing in the more popular calibers in a good assortment of thier guns and my hope is to determine which guns are big sellers and which are not - and that will determine what I stock vs. special order. Once I determine which are the popular models, I can broaden the caliber choices too.

With emails from guys like Crack here, I find out that there is people out there that want them, and I can look at perhaps stocking them on subsequent orders.

What I can always do is order the gun per the customers' request for them.

Rough pricing on Tanfoglios should be available on our website late next week, and we are the exclusive distributor for Tanfoglio in Canada.
