No 32 MK1 SCOPE REPAIR TO ENGLAND

Hi guys posted this the other day in the Milsurps, but there was little response. I am wanting to send the No32MK1 scope to England for repairs. Does anybody have recent experience dealing with customs in England where it's going for repairs and upon return Canadian customs?? What are the legal aspects dealing with shipping a scope overseas?

As far as the UK laws for military surplus they are very open if it can't fire and has been properly deactivated it's fair game. You can drive your own tank on their roads if you pay the road tax and have a licence so a sight is not illegal neither are high capacity magazines although I wouldn't recommend the old surplus Radway Green for your AR platforms they are pretty poor quality. Your best bet is contact the relevant customs on both sides and ask them.
