I was shooting my repro No4(T) rifle yesterday and discovered something interesting with the Taiwanese reproduction No.32 scope.
I'd been having trouble focussing on the target. Big picture, the image in the scope seems to be pretty clear but the target would tend to be fuzzy, which is kind of a weird effect I'd never seen in a scope.
Yesterday I realized that I could get a clear view of the target if I moved my head to a specific spot. The focussed area of the image seems to be quite small so it is easy to lose it.
My guess is this is a flaw in the Taiwanese made scope / lenses. There are a couple of guys in Canada who specialize in No.32 scope repair so I am contemplating sending the scope off to be evaluated and repaired if necessary.
