Just wondering if it is normal for a Lee Enfield No.4 to shoot far over to one side or the other, I have had to adjust the front sight post to the left a good amount in order to have a proper zero. Is this common or is there an issue else where causing the shots to go left? None of my other No.4 rifles are like this.

How is the the crown on the muzzle ? Is the fore stock properly bedded contact with wood inside the barrel inletting can cause bad barrel harmonics throwing the bullet off target ....lastly is the barrel indexed correctly not too far one way or the other can happen if replaced

If it groups, at all or acceptably - learn to live with it.

If it does not group, then you've got yourself or a gunsmith a project. Lee-Enfield bedding is an art form, of which there are two main methods. You've got the military method which involved pressure bedding at the muzzle. Or the target shooters method, which is centre bedding. Not a project for the faint of heart, either way.

Barrel is excellent which is what was the most confusing part I would expect that out of a shot out rifle but if this is not too uncommon I won't touch it and leave it as it is! The sights are dead on now but the front side is very far left making it an unpleasing sight picture but still usable. Thank you for the confirmation

Hello. Check to see if the entire foresight block is 90 degrees to the knox form. Often these are knocked out of proper alignment causing canting. To compensate for this problem the fore sight is moved off centre. To fix the problem just replace the block pin when alignment
is reset correctly.

As jtaylor said plus...take the top covers off the forend and as Ganderite said see if the forend is warped and the barrel is only touching on one side.
