I have grown to love my "poor mans sniper" a bubba LB No.4 that I put a full stock and a scope mouunt on. Its fun to shoot and looks sweet, but the neutered barrel looks off..

This has caused me to want a real No.4 (T), but, since the prices of those are quite high, I am thinking of doing a repro with an already drilled and tapped full wood rifle.

I have a rifle lined up for 400, looks to be drilled for a T-01. But Who makes a good repro mount? What about a repro scope? I have a weaver K3 that is one my scoped No.4 that could look somewhat OK.

Thanks.

The weaver steel k3 and k2.5 look great on the #4 and work awesome as well - cant go wrong for about $80. Weavers with the post and crosshair are a bit more.

For mounts, I have just been using the S&K no gunsmithing type.

.. Very real "repro Mounts" are available, BUT, expensive, and then there's the added cost of having a Gunsmith actually install them. ( Pads, plus mount, from SARCO? ) . My suggestion, would be to use the "No Drilling/Tapping" type, that way you would still have the option to return the Rifle to original condition, apart from screw holes, if you install a cheek rest, on the Butt. ....
