Greetings,

As I eagerly await the Canada Post package that has my Poole No 5 bayonet in it, I ponder...

The bayonet I have bought has a well-cracked grip panel. My interwebz search so far has located no source for replacement grips.

Does anyone know if:

RFI grip panels have the same dimensions as a genuine No 5 bayo?

Or,

A source for new grip panels?

Cheers,

Neal

I think you may have to actually make a set. That's not that hard and they'll turn out looking better than original if you do it with care. If you don't want to and can't get any, send the blade to me and I'll do it.

Here are grip photos of a Poole marked bayonet dated 1946.
Post-war ROF, Poole bayonets are marked with a “P” inside a small circle.
