No birds but found more poop today? Need to ID...

Moose is the larger ones, smaller ones are deer.

unfortunatly starting Jan 1st,
the Larose Forest with be highly restricted for all motorized vehicles.
Thank the local tree huggers.
Concession roads will all be off limits.
ATV and Snowmobiles have to share road/trail 25 that runs East/West,
then Gagnon trail that runs to Limoges, thats it.
How they plan to enforce it,
is yet to be seen, as they cant keep trucks off the ATV only trails now.
They wanted to restrict hunting as well,
but MNR said "nutz" to that idea.
I am a member of local ATV club,
and we aint too happy about it.
We are a registered responsable group,
and we get punished as well.

Question:
What are they doing on Gagnon? They cut all the way to the big pond as wide as a highway and made a clearing closer to Limoges which I fear is a parking lot. This will completely ruin that area if this is for anything other than cross country skiing. I found all this poop near that pond and it won't be a good area to hunt next year if there is a highway running beside it.

Picture 1 and 2 look like moose scat. Picture 3 looks like deer

X2 on what he said. That track is a small deer if I we're to take a guess. The poo in the first couple of pictures is definately moose poo.

I think its so the ski doos can also share that trail as well with the ATV's.
The trail has to be wider for the groomer.
Less impact on the animals i was told.
What a crock if you ask me.
They said they want less impact, but all summer they have drained several ponds,installed over sized culverts on many of the trails.
Also bush hog'd the trails.
Gagnon was the coolest trail to ride before this work.

PS, the moose hunt in the forest is a Bow only zone.
I beleive there is seperate section on moose hunting in the Larose in the hunt regs.
