I'm investigating what would be the best way to carry my 1894 saddle ring carbine with me out in the bush. I'm not out hunting, but working out in the bush with overalls on.
I was thinking that the gunslinger backpack might be nice, but it is quite large and I wouldn't want to carry it all the time.
I kind of would like to find something that would allow me to wear it across my back and still be able to at least get in and out of a vehicle without removing the rifle.
I will be moving around as well, so it needs to hold the rifle securely.
EDIT: I see they are called back scabbards... search is starting to work for me...
