No IMR4064 Substitues Anyone

IMR 4895...tracked some down today. It will be fun developing a new load for the .243. I appreciate all the input from everyone. However I will be back on the hunt for some of the other powders tomorrow.

Any recipes for IMR 4895 using 100 grain A-Max bullets and CCI primers? These will be slid into a 22" barrel of a Browning A-Bolt.

Must have been a shipment of 4895 as I just picked up 2lbs yesterday. If you look through all the newer loading manuals 4895 never really seems to give top velocities in many cartridges/bullet weights. Always the Reloader powders and Vargets of the world listed as top velocities. Sometimes I wonder if it isn't a bit of a scam. Anyways, got top velocities easily with IMR 4895 in a 7-08 with 140g partitions out of a 20" bbl yesterday, old Lyman manual and sierra manuals showed it could be done, accuracy was so-so.

Ive used Varget and Win 760 which was about 10+ years old to great effect!
