No Load data for 180 gr lead HELP!!

Hi
i have been trying to find a recipe for 40 sw ,180 gr lead with win 231 powder.
i called winchester and they did not have one GO FIGURE!!
they told me to stay at the minimum for jacketed which is 4.0 grains. i made a buinch and the powder came out at 3.8 gr with my lee loader.

a person i know told me i should do 4.5 grains with that powder and that will work fine.

does anybody know of a recipe or will that recipe work??
Will the bullets i made at 3.8 grains work in the gun or are they too light of powder.

Lyman’s 48th manual lists 4.3-5.8gr. of Win 231 with a 175gr. Lead bullet

Personally I run 4.9gr W231 behind a 180gr and it has functioned well thru my Glock(in both poly and ss bbls). U may be a bit light on your other load but others can confirm . According to Steve R's data, 4.0 is minimum for this caliber as well. May be an excellent opportunity for you to try out a kinetic or inertia bullet puller!
