Hi all
I originally went by the nick Thumperpaul, but for some reason I can't open topics in the CGN forum with that profile. I am now using the alternate handle of collector67...
I was present for the SKS gong shoot on the 23rd (at the PoCo rifle range); many thanks for the invite, I had a lot of fun, and it was a pleasure meeting everyone there. I'm glad I can at last access this site at last, and am looking forward to hooking up and exchanging info about milsurps, which is my main interest.:rockOn:
 
The guy is upfront about it so we should crucify him?? Thanks for clarifying what could be an issue, PM currton and let him know so the other account can be deleted so you have no future issues.

I didn't know that having two identities was a banable offence, I didn't mean it to work out that way. I'm no hacker, or pirate, I tried to join this website quite awhile ago, and I encountered the "padlocks" on the forums, and I couldn't figure out the problem, so I left it alone.( I am a recent gun owner, my dad left his meager collection to me a year ago)
I recently was asked through another link (gunboards.com) by jet (easyrider?) from CGN if I wanted to attend a local SKS gong shoot, and through that, I was invited to join the association. I attempted to "restart" my membership, and ran into the same problem: I could sign in with no difficulty, but every topic had a padlock on it, and wouldn't let me view it.
I admit, I took the easy way out, and created a new account, which sort of made sense, since I had recently switched my ISP, so my old one was sort of redundant anyways. I meant no offense to the board, and I repeat, I'm not a hacker or bot....if you can tell me how to delete my old account, please let me know....right??
 
Glad to have you onboard, Thumperpaul. I hope this dual account business can be sorted out quickly in your favor by the moderators. You acted in good faith when you opened the second account.

It will be easier to keep you in the loop re the next gong shoot. Good shooting last Tuesday, btw. Thanks for taking the time to come on such short notice.

Second, let me grind my axe a bit: this guy is upfront and seems genuine, and mods want to nail him to the wall and ban him since he broke the rules. He doesn't sound like a troll to me....unlike other a**hats that run freely around this site. Sometimes I wonder........:confused:
