Hey Guys,
I just received a call from our Canpar rep, letting us know that effective immediately they are no longer 'able' to carry firearms or ammunition.

As such, for orders containing ammunition, I'm only able to offer UPS rates, and for orders containing firearms, Rates for Canada Post and UPS.

We did an initial search on this side to see if we could find any reason why this could have happened. In doing so, we found that the company that owns Canpar, TFI international, is also working on a deal to buy UPS freight...
Regards,
Payam

Of course they are "able" to, they just choose not to. Anti-gun p*****

exactly why I quoted 'able'.

We've reached out to a bunch of different shippers to see if we can offer other carriers. Spectre ballistics put up the letter they received in their thread, in which they say they're not even carrying gun parts anymore. I think I may refer that to our lawyer for some feedback, as I see the potential for a discrimination claim.

Regards,
Payam

Legal action really needs tk be considered down the road. It's possible we lose all shipping of firearms goods in this country simply due to woke people running our courier services.

I don't know how your website calculates shipping with Canada Post. Its $31.38 to ship a pistol to 1763 Pleasant Corner Rd, Vankleek Hill, ON K0B 1R0. Marstar's own address.
