Talked to Wholesale Sport the other day and guess what? NO MORE CATALOG!
I have last falls sitting beside the "throne" and check it out daily.
I'm guess I will just have to read the Cabelas catalog instead. :)
What does everyone else think about no Wholesale Sports catalog?
I bet they will lower their prices!

I agree. I stopped going to the one here in Regina. Zero customer service and they rarely have what I need in stock anyway. The final straw for me was when I waited 15 minutes at the gun counter for a staff member to finish talking about absolutely nothing sales related to a lookie loo, only to be told they didn't have anything I wanted in stock. ( powder, bullets a set of dies). Now for the good part, he actually told me to order if from the catalog. I suggested that I would have done that at home if I wanted to but I'm here, in your store with money and want what I came for. I asked if he could order in what I wanted and he said no they didn't do that and told me again to order from my catalog. I haven't spent a dime there since.

I pray Cabela's has decent customer service when they open.

No more disappointment,, looking in the catalogue and knowing they wouldn't have it in stock.

No loss, been getting skinnier and less inclusive for years now.;) No more on line orders either, in contrast to most other retailer, so you've got to wonder what kind of management is running the place

Grizz

There were always too many errors and mismatches of detailed information with pictures and model variants because they did a lot of stuff by cut-and-paste from manufacturers brochures. You can get the same misinformation from the website so I won't miss it much.

I liked thumbing through the catalogue, but I wont miss it. The catalogue was just a tease anyway as they never have stock, especially reloading componants. Ive been done with their mail order for a while now.

Paper catalogs are really going the way of the dodo. MEC stopped sending out a paper catalog a few years ago. Most people just browse on the web so a paper catalog is a waste of money and postage. I agree with the people that like having them to flip through in the can or the coffee room, but the times they are a-changin'.
