Anyone bought Tripp research mags in 010 yet?
Someone pointed this out to me earlier:
Questar

There is no simple list of what is or isn't covered... but most stuff requires export permits. There is an exemption (this applies to State Department controlled items not Department of Commerce) on SOME ITEMS if they have a wholesale value of less than $100 USD, but many items no longer qualify for this exemption (example: Magazines, magazine parts, trigger parts, barrels, etc. no longer qualify for the $100 exemption). I have seen where a $0.50 trigger component is deemed a necessary component of the operation of the firearm and therefore required an Export Permit.

I was planning to switch to Cobra mags anytime soon, I guess this isnt going to happen unless we have a dealer importing em...

I don't believe the mags-no-longer-qualify quotation, being used here out of context, is accurate.

AFAIK there has not been any recent change to the way magazines are handled.

Brownells would know, I am certain, and there has been no such change expressed from them.

Phoenix range in Edmonton was carrying them.

I order direct from Sherri Tripp. They ship alot to Canadians, so don't worry. If you are ordering, tell her, her Canadian friend Steve says "hi" (it usually helps with the shipping).

I know shipping isnt usually a problem from them, their shipping options even include the Canadian provinces along american states

Just checking if with all the recent import/export updates this has changed
so besides 210, none of you bought in 2010? Yall feedbacking experience from pre-export updates?
