No Products on the website?

okay everyone.... step away from the espresso machine! :)

I finally got ahold of the CEO of the company doing our website and online store for both Target and TSE...

Much butt kicking will be taking place to get both sites finished and up ASAP.

I don't remember what the old site looked like or what all you stock, I am looking for a 22 revolver. Do you have anything like that.:)

Wow, I didn't expect my comments to cause such a ####storm.

FWIW, I didn't know that TSE and TSC were partnered up. My comments about "supporting Western dealers" actually meant I spend most of my "gun money" at TSE. Both my wife and I are members, and Kim bought both her shotgun and her handgun at your store this spring. Heck, I'm in the pistol bays at least one night a week........

Anyhow, my comments weren't meant to insult or upset anybody. I was simply trying to point out that potential customers will quickly move along if they can't find what they're looking for, especially with so many other vendors offering fully operational and regularly updated websites.

Take it for what its worth.........

With the pricing of websites and the amount of time they take to get up and running right, I'm not surprised by the time frame.

To give some reference:

I'm on my 3rd website/shopping cart, soon to be 4th.

My webguys have been at my newest website/shopping cart for 6months trying to get it working right and the products uploaded.

A website that includes live inventory, retail integration, multiple pictures plus other features is not bought off the shelf, and starts at around $30,000.
(Don't even think about telling me otherwise because it's been an ongoing study for me)

If you guys want them to have a website that your not going to complain about as soon as it's up and running, them give them some time, and have a bit of patience

Yup... That worked....

Insert Jeopardy final question music here....

Man, keep your pants on.

This is the summer holiday season and people usually take some downtime at this time of year. And that includes web developers. I don't know where you're parked, but if TSE is anything like TSC, you'd do well to just go and walk in. Speaking from personal experience at TSC, I much prefer being in there because, well, as good as the staff might be at assisting you over the phone, it's a whole lot easier to shop in person.

Not to mention that through a website, you usually only see stuff you're actively looking for and won't have the opportunity of seeing something that might catch your fancy but didn't really consider until now.

5 months later....you get a copy paste version of their TSE home site and still no product page??? Whats up?

I agree! 5 months is too long, especially seeing the results.

There are a lot of us out here that spend time at work looking at online websites for inventory and price checks. Also I can't be on the phone inquring about this stuff. Not politically correct at all.

No internet presence = loss sales, IMO!

Not all of us have that luxury to drop by there on a whim... so we rely on the internet...

Anyways, here we are in October...
