Check Weimajack here on CGN, he is not far from Montreal. in Valleyfield I think. He has SKS in stock so check the EE section here on CGN

Agreed. Weimajack is a nice guy to deal with, and is very communicative. Only reason I didn't buy from him recently was I wanted to buy my CZ with credit card and he doesn't go that route. In any other case, I wouldn't hesitate.
Looks like lots of SKS's showing up in Syria, and Afghanistan. Maybe none left to import into Canada?

I echo Woodbeef's sentiment. I purchased two non-refurbished, unissued SKS's from weimajack. Both were pristine! Nothing like owning an original piece of cold war history. All of his "refurbs" are about as close to "unissued" as you can get, usually limited to a stock replacement! This guy hand picks the best and he knows what he's doing.
If you feel like ordering one, I recommend Prairie Gun Traders, one of CGN sponsors. I ordered one a few weeks ago, 1954 refurb, laminate. I called and ask them to look them over and send a good and and they did just that. It's a refurb but it looks new, probably the nicest sks I've ever seen. They even cleaned off most of the cosmo. And it shoots fantastic, definitely one of the more accurate sks's out there!
