I don't foresee them doing anything about it. Already they are tapped for cash and the future of the buyback is uncertain. This is just a matter of limiting legal liability and getting access again to one of the biggest markets in the US (California). Merely business.

The only reason they couldnā€™t prohib handguns was because they were considered reasonable for sport shooting. This will give them justification to ban more.

Name a time the lib government ever did or didnt do something because it was "reasonable". They dont give two hoots about sport shooters. They will do what they want, and they did. Essential ending handgun ownership in Canada with zero compensation. I also highly doubt they will do any bans on them, They dont have the means or resources and they know it. They have already effectively crippled it in their mind.

The item in question was a Glock firearm that had been disassembled for importation into Canada. This process exemplifies how our parts kits operate: you select the desired firearm, and we remove the component that legally classifies it as a firearm (the frame for Glock models, or the Firearm Control Unit (FCU) for Sig Sauer). The remaining components are then shipped to Canada.
