How do I tell if the head space on a no1 mk3 is bad? I remember reading once if I could unscrew the bolt head a full turn an still close the bolt it was bad . I can do this with my no1 .
I doubt that you can close your bolt that way with a case in the chamber. What you want, if you really want to know the headspace, is to have someone check headspace with the proper gauges.
