Anybody running one of these mounts on their LE's, any opinions on the 1st and last generation?
Would appreciate any real experience with using them, and how usable the iron sights become after installing.
I have an Addley mount on my no4 mk1. It installed in ten minutes and it is rock solid. The rear iron sight is removed during installation, but you can easily remove the Addley mount and re-install the rear sight if desired. I am very pleased with the Addley mount. It is one of the few mounts that allow you to remove the bolt for cleaning.
