I inherited a 1945 M47C No4 Mk1 (T) sniper rifle some time ago. It appears to be a late war rifle. Serial numbers on bolt, receiver, and scope mount match; scope number matches number on stock; transit case and scope can included; everything appears to be original with proper markings except the check piece and butt plate which appear newer, but I can't say one way or the other.
I realize I have a rare piece of history, but was wondering what it would go for on today's market.
I would post pictures, but my camera doesn't want to work for me.
Thanks for any assistance or information.
