Hey got an old no4 handed to me, nothing sentimental, was wondering of its approximate worth.

was obviously sporterised(parker hale maybe?), the 90 degree rear flip sights, one is cut in half, other marked 800 is whole. Bore maybe 7.5/10 looks a bit rough near the end tried photos but didn't work too well.

Thanks in advance:)

almost forgot...
markings:

In that condition? You'll be very lucky to get $100.

-Forestock is cracked,
-No bluing left,
-Looks like it had rust at some point.

Keep it and have fun.

Maybe 150ish?

Maybe. It wouldn't be hard to get less. If it shoots well someone will be interested in it as a potential restoration candidate because it has a whole barrel, as previously mentioned. But with so much of the finish gone, that someone will hope to find one in better condition.

Personally I wouldn't pay more than $60 for it, and I love No.4 Mk.I's.

I would probably use the parts rather than fix it up. The bolt and mag are worth $60 to me.

Hi. The U.S. Property makes it a Savage Lend/Lease rifle, but it's not worth more, in that condition, just because it is one of those. No shooting that without checking headspace. Likely best to change the stock too. Too many cracks. Lots of aftermarket stuff around for No. 4 Lee-Enfields. Not cheap though.
Parker Hale had nothing whatever to do with that one. Bubba did.
600 not 800.

First thing to do would be to scrub the bore, see what is there. It looks filthy, might be better than it looks.
It is a very late Savage, summer of '44. The 1,058###th rifle Savage made.
If the bore cleans up, install another sported forend, and shoot it.
The barrel being uncut, it could be restored.

As it happens, I have the forend and handguards, bands, rear sight, etc. on hand. If I were to see it on a gunshow table for $75, I'd grab it. $125, I'd pass.
