Are there different length cleaning kits for Lee Enfields?The one I recieved from Trade-ex today is only 3/4 the length of the barrel with attachment.Not going to work as a pullthrough.Steel buttplate I ordered was missing from box but was charged for it and long buttstock all gouged up{VG-EX con]NOT***I'll be sending it all back........................Harold

I wonder if that was the one for a Sten?
 
Are you going to use it? They have been known to wear a crown down pretty quick, probably one of the reasons so many Enfields have their barrels cut down an Inch or so. Crown was worn so bad they were cut to re crown.
 
"...probably one of the reasons so many..." Usually to take off the bayonet lugs for who knows why.
There are commercial pull throughs that work just fine. Gunparts lists cleaning kits(Danish) at $6.80US. It's just a pull through and a plastic oiler bottle. $26.25US for a brass oiler.
 
No I won't be bothering with replacing the cleaning kit .Just looking for a correct sling for a 1950 LB No#4MKI* Where they marked with year or what do I look for?Harold
