I've just aquired a m47 1943 no4mk1. It has all the proper bits: adjustable peep sight, release button for bolt, etc... The part that throws me off is that the bolt is hollowed out like on my no5's- but it matches the recvr. No FTR marks that I can see, so re-stamped mismatch seems unlikely but... Anyone have any input? Was this done on some no4's?

Not unusual to find the small hole bolt handle on a '43
Not all, I've seen round, round with a flat, and the ones with the hole all with M47 markings.
