No5 Mk1 pepper laminate

It is, not sure if it was done by Sorrell and sons or by someone else. I've contacted Sorrell and they won't sell any of their stocks

I may be willing to do something like that, down the road. I'm hoping to turn out lots of projects this summer. If you get the blanks I can do the work. What style of fore end were you wanting, with the cap or without? You are talking full military configuration obviously?

Without cap and yes! might as well keep in tradition with the military specs.

well I guess no one wants any of this pepper laminate wood.

I think we missed the part where you said they were up for sale. Are you building a batch of them? Looks pretty sharp, hard to find a no5 without lumber to use that on, would be easier to find a mk3 thats been sportered, but then I'd have to chop the barrel to make a no5 clone.

Chopped No4's are around and that's the only way i'd do this anyway. If we get enough interest would someone be willing to build? i'd be willing to have someone build a one off for me but if others want to jump on board it might help with costs

Interesting I have had similar thoughts but I have been searching for makers of a thumbhole stock for a M1A/M14 rifle and someone in Canada that makes wood handguards walnut or others. I am surprized that thumbhole stocks are not out there yet you can get em for almost any other rifle or shotgun now.
