He's done lectures for LEO in the US... I seem to remember a video floating around of a 2 hour(ish) seminar he gave to some Fed forensics types about arsenal markings.

"Guns" is pretty much his job, AFAIK. I think he does work for some of the museums and auction houses. He has pretty spectacular access that many of us mere mortals can only dream of.
