I was the lucky winner of the PGW Defense Technology Inc. Coyote barrel, action, etc. at the Western Canada F Class Championships at the end of June.

With a little help from Les D I got a hold of Steve at PGW early last week and met both Steve and Ross of PGW on Tuesday. Holding a completed folding stock Coyote while discussing completing the build made decisions quite easy. I left the parts behind and was told the build would be completed in about two weeks. I got a call this morning from Steve saying that the gun was ready for pick up. I quickly mounted a Sightron Scope this afternoon that I had available and it is already zeroed at 100. I won't post target results, however for random loads, results are excellent.

I also selected their carry case and the muzzle brake (the thread protector is pictured) and one extra mag. Still not sure about the Schmidt and Bender scope they have available, I have to talk to Les about that a little more.

A rifle built in just over a week!!!!!

Now for the Thanks.
Thanks to the guys at Nokomis who put on an excellent match!
Thanks to PGW Defense Technology Inc. for supporting the match!
Thanks to the young lady target puller who drew my number!

For those of you not sure about entering one of these competitions, come on out and have some fun!!

Looks awesome Jim!!! Really glad to see the men at PGW pull the build together for you. You will have to let me try it someday. Best of luck at your prov's. Now's that going? You should have the first day over by now too... fill us in.

We all got a little wet and had to modify the schedule somewhat. We shot 300, 600 and 500. A few cleaned it a 300 and Bruce M cleaned it at 600 in an interesting wind situation.

The gun is yours to use when ever we can meet up. If you are ever in Winnipeg I can arrange a long distance gravel pit shoot. Check out my posting in Precision Rifles "Day at the range Manitoba style (3) to find out what that is like. Last time one of the shooters had a .338 Timberwolf and a PGW .50 out.
