For any type of rust prevention during those wet periods Ezzox is pretty hard to beat. That's if you can find it.

Fluid Film. Wonderfull stuff.
Lock-eeze inside the bolt.

30 above to 30 below, rain or snow ... never a problem with rust or function.

Atf, high viscocity, designed to work with heat, and has active cleaning agents in it. Use it on mgs all the time at the range, use it at home in the pigs (m14).

I bought a can of Fluid film to lubricate vehicle door hinges. I sprayed the hinges on my truck a few months ago and they still appear wet with nary a squeak. It does look like it would be a good gun lubricant; it stays put while not being overly viscous.
