Non-restricted 5.56 semi-auto?

So I have opportunity to almost limitless use of a private action-shooting range next summer, and to celebrate I considering a new non-restricted rifle.

Non-restricted
5.56mm
semi-auto
Stanag mags
No bull pups

I'd be happy spending $3K or less, but prepared to go up to ~$6K+/-, with focus on a durable, reliable, well built gun.

Recommendations?


EDIT : Not an approved range, non-restricted gun required.

2nd and 3rd go to the ACR and XCR in my opinion.

If you want it right now the acr, xcr, wk180b and maybe a macdef SLR are your only options. If you can wait the atrs modern sporter is the way to go

I bought 2 WK 180 C for shooting at the farm.

Both my twins grandkids use them a lot with no issues whatsoever.

I bought them 3K of ammo and they are almost out, i will order more with the sales coming.

Nothing but good things to say about these rifles and they are not to expensive.

Another vote for the WK180C I've put 700 rounds through mine in 6 weeks without any issues. It's a fantastic rifle.
