What a joke your webstore states the exact same rubbish............

Again with the half truth :)... I guess you didn't notice the rest of what is stated on our website right after the "Legal Notice" part...

Now here's the way we see it...
We're here for the long term and that means satisfied customers.

We try very hard to treat our customers with respect and to meet their expectations... of course, we appreciate the same in return. Sometimes customers get frustrated and they take that frustration out on the wrong people... we don''t design the products... we don''t make the products and we''re not the ones responsible if a product needs service. Sometimes people forget that.

There's only so much 'abuse' our staff will take from someone before they finally say 'enough'. But if you have a problem with something we've sold you and you bring it to our attention in a reasonable and respectful way, then we're going to do everything we can to help you resolve the issue... to everyone's satisfaction.

It's a small firearms community in Canada and we're not here to rip anyone off.

Lewis Machine & Tool (LMT) Warranties
Questar International will be assisting LMT with their warranty service here in Canada (applies to original purchaser of item as purchased from Questar).

Rock River Arms Warranties
Questar International will be assisting Rock River Arms with their warranty service here in Canada (applies to original purchaser of item as purchased from Questar).

SIG Sauer Warranties
Questar International will be assisting SIG Sauer with their warranty service here in Canada (applies to original purchaser of item as purchased from Questar).

Not quite "the exact same rubbish"... there is a bit of a difference I think.

I noticed and exactly what that would mean is up to interpretation, YOUR iterpretation. I also notice your hollier than tho attitude and you very quickly jumped all over another dealer while trying to make yourself look better.

Bottom line is you left out the whole part about the barrel BUT listed every one of your costs to the penny.

I just pointed it out and you didnt like it :stirthepot2: :stirthepot2:

If I got that wrong I apologize... just basing it on what was written on your website:

Unless otherwise stated, Kodiak Outpost Inc makes no expressed or implied warranty whatsoever with respect to any merchandise. The warranties are provided by the manufacturer and are as contained in each manufacturer's package. REQUESTS FOR WARRANTY INFORMATION, REPAIRS, AND CLAIMS SHOULD BE MADE DIRECTLY TO THE MANUFACTURER. Please note that some manufacturers may not have warranty centres in Canada. Returning the item to the manufacturer for service work will be the sole responsiblity of the purchaser.

Since FN does not have a Canadian warranty outlet and they do not offer warranty to Canadian dealers or customers from their US office it was my understanding that you did not warranty the FN products yourself... if I'm wrong about that then I certainly stand corrected.

While we also have a warranty statement on our website that reminds customers that warranties are the responsibility of the manufacturer involved, we also strive to assist all customers with any issues they may have. We maintain an in-house staff of certified armorers as well as a wide range of equipement and parts for servicing most of what we sell. We also work directly with the various manufacturers to support them and make sure that customers are able to get full warranty support in spite of the border and the issues that it causes. In most cases we do the warranty work here in Canada on behalf of the manufacturer and with their support and assitance... at no cost to the customer.

With all due respect, you really know nothing about our business practices. To comment on them is unprofessional and just plain ridiculous.

As pointed out, you have a similar disclaimer on your website. I'm not sure what makes you think we would leave any customer hanging. We strive to keep our customers happy. Kodiak Outpost always tries to do as much as we can to find solutions to whatever problems arise. This includes rebates, refunds, or paying for repairs as the circumstances dictate as determined on an individual basis.

Get lost BUM..... your a cop in real life NOT on the internets I said its not such a great deal as Questar leaves out the whole barrel, how much is your credit for the barrel $500??? LOL

Do us all a favour...buy a gun store so that none of us can shop there due to your p*ss-poor attitude. Then you can go out of business and, if there's any justice, not have enough money to afford to be a troll on the internet.

Then as I say, my apologies. I was not aware that you did warranty work for customers or that you handled return of firearms to the US where necessary.

I certainly didn't mean to suggest that you mistreated your customers and looking at it now I realize that may be how some interpreted what I was saying... again my apologies.

Frankly I think I got caught up in the BS back and forth with OZZ and lashed out at you... that was childish of me. Serves me right for getting into a pissing contest with him... I should know better.

Anyway... I honestly am sorry if I mislead anyone about your warranty policies or practices. I don't blame you if you don't accept but hope that you do.

Sincerely...

Mark

Nice one now! WTF does that have to do with anything?? Must be all those hits on the CFC database you been doing its getting to your feminine side.

I`ve spent lots of money at Questar and have had good service even help with a warranty issue.

He just didnt like like what I pointed out and thats too bad!

I've dealt with Mark at Questar a number of times so far and I've been extremely happy with each purchase. Each of the items I purchased were out of the ordinary, and a bit more difficult to get a hold of than your regular firearm, but he came through each time.

I should have remembered that Hi-desertdog doesn't include a flash hider with their barrels, and had Mark install one for me. It's not a big deal, I'll pick one up at some point and put it on.

On to fun things.:ar15::ar15::ar15: Hopefully I'll be able to have the time to take it to a tactical rifle match this weekend and fire off a few rounds.:ar15::ar15::ar15:

I'll make sure to take some pics and vids and post 'em on CGN.

No worries.

One thing's for sure, we should consider ourselves fortunate that canadian dealers put their neck on the line to bring cool guns into Canada and make them available to us. :canadaFlag::ar15:
