non restricted paperwork

hi
i just picked up my first firearm. a 22lr rifle Nonrestricted.
So do i need to wait for registration paperwork before i can take it to the club?

also the shop printed off the transfer notification. this is the only paperwork i have so far.

Theoretically, you need to have the registration paper, but the transfer paper will do in most places unless you have a big mouth and lip off the cops. If in Alberta, forget about all that paper garbage and just go shooting wherever you please.
