There were some NR ACR's available awhile back (offered at a decent price too) and they were available as a NR rifle from the retailer/distributor? (they had been modified to be NR for our Canadian market by the retailer/distributor? IIRC) and were sold as a complete ready to go NR ACR.
They came and went quickly due to the availability of a ready to go NR ACR (a rarity as new) and a very good price point.

Remington only produced a handfull of semi-auto ACR's, none of which are available in Canada.
Bushmaster has yet to manufacture any of their ACR vapor-ware outside of the standard 16" barreled Basic and Enhanced ACR models.

Do you have any more info on the Remington versions? I've only seen a few pics, but looks like you can change grips and trigger guards?
Has Remington released any info on expanding production for civvies?

Remington Defense version had an Aluminum lower, and yes interchangeable grips and trigger guards. Also note the non-folding adjustable stock and Remington Defense handguards. Most recent example of a Remington Defense ACR handguard being sold went for $1200usd in the past month. To rich for my blood. Lol
Civilian Remington Defense ACR's are off the table as Remington Defense has officially axed all further efforts on the ACR. Once again another great option to replace the military's AR variants dies based on the decision that the AR is just to cheap to produce and outfit an army with so it wins by default.
