I need 7.62x39 ammo, with non-steel projectile. My club does not allow any traces of steel in any projectile shot there. At the same time I'm looking for cheaper versions than Hornady, Federal.

1. I kind of set my eyes on Tulammo. I couldn't find though any info that their projectiles are steel free. Does anybody know?

2. What other brands/models should I search for?

Thx

This is what you need?
If so pm me I have some. You shoot it then you can reload after.
None other brand will have steel free bullets

All the Prvi and S&B I've shot has had non-magnetic bullets. I have read online that some S&B ammo does sometimes have bimetal jacketed (magnetic) bullets though so maybe it's a lot-to-lot thing?
Cheapest way to get lead-free is to load your own. I've used 150gr .308" bullets to great success and also shoot cast on occasion in my SKS.

Except for Winchester, Federal, Hornady, Prvi, S&B, Lapua, Geco, and others. There are many manufacturers who make steel-free 7.62x39 ammo; finding it in stock in Canada is the issue.
