I notice that Winchester is selling ammo call SuperClean NT (non-toxic), but they don't seem to be selling non-toxic reloading components (powders or primers) or reloading specs for NT components. And their website does not indicate that they plan to either.

Is anyone else making NT reloading components available?

Th best NT I know of are PMC. They are made by Murom in Russia. Murom regular primers are match grade and use by some Pamla shooters. They are very hard to find, however. I believe only one dealer in the US has them.

WW non toxic..exposed lead covered and no lead in primers

Winchester has taken the lead (stanate?) out of their primers... they went to copper colour from silver at the same time. They cover the lead in their NT bullets with thin jackets or copperwash so no exposed lead in their non toxic bullets.

All powders are similar nitrocelluose/nitroglycern based... they may be toxic, and I would not recommend breathing a lot of it from any manufacturer ....but they shouldn't contain lead... that's mainly the non toxic aspect of it.

So if you use current WW primers and cover the lead in your projectiles so the burning powder charge can't sublimate it, your reloads will be as non toxic as WW.
