Non-toxic shotguns ammo

Is it worth reloading these? How difficult is it to get steel shot and components? Used to load lead many years ago, but never loaded steel.

All depends on how many a year you shoot. Very difficult to get components in canada . In fact I have to get mine right across the country and pay crazy shipping especially for shot

Last time I saw non toxic shot for sale, bb size it was $54 for 10lbs. I went out and bought a case of 3" magnum T shot for geese.

Yeah, pretty much what I thought. Not worth the trouble. I can buy 3" ammo for $17 per box.

I never did the numbers but I bet it costs me at least that and if I wasn't reloading 10ga steel would probaly buy my 12ga 3" requirements other than maybe 3 1/2 I would save some
